Most RamseyTrusted agents got the badge. I went further and got certified through Ramsey's Financial Coach Master Training, because I came to real estate from personal finance rather than the other way around.
Why This Isn't Just A Badge
In 2018 my wife Ashley and I were about $250,000 in debt — student loans, credit cards, two cars, and the mortgage. We went through Financial Peace University together and worked the plan. Today every bit of it is paid off, including the house. We own it outright.
That experience is why I went and got certified through Ramsey Solutions' Financial Coach Master Training, and why I coordinate FPU classes locally — which I don't get paid for. Then I got my real estate license, because a house is where most people's money decisions actually get made.
So if you've read the books or been through FPU yourself, you already know what to expect from me. I'm going to ask about your numbers before I ask what neighborhood you like. And if the right answer is to wait a year and knock out the debt first, I'll say that — even though it doesn't pay me.
What "RamseyTrusted" Actually Means
Ramsey's team runs this evaluation themselves. It isn't a directory you buy your way into.

The Coaching Side
Ramsey Solutions certifies independent financial coaches through a program called Financial Coach Master Training. I completed it, and I do one-on-one coaching for people who ask — separate from real estate, and not something I bill for.
The line at the bottom of that certificate reads “Heart of a Teacher.” That's a fair description of how I try to run a transaction: explain what's happening and why, instead of pointing at where to sign.
